I really wanted to like this book more because I am a huge Simon Pegg fan but ultimately I couldn't give it more than three stars.
There were parts that were very funny but for me it bogged down too many times in the minutiae of "what Simon was doing in school and with whom". Also, this isn't a criticism on the writing but he's from the UK (duh, duh, duh) and I just couldn't keep up with all of the British television and cuturally references. I felt like the uncool kid who wasn't getting most of the jokes in the group.
I still love Pegg, so much more now that I know how deeply his geekness runs.
